Special Events

Wandering Aengus Treks is involved in a number of special events which take place in our local community here in the North Lakes. In 2017 the Old Crown Round, a quadrennial fell race and charity walk around the Caldbeck Fells raised £2,200 for the Great North Air Ambulance. The round is a 24 mile circuit of the local fells that have lent their name to a beer brewed at Hesket Brewery and served in the Old Crown pub in Hesket Newmarket.
